Lately, the response to our dinner meetings has been REALLY terrific.  However, I have not been having many people let me know that they are coming, which complicates things.

An RSVP makes it easier for us to arrange seating and for us to be able to try to get enough tables together.  It also makes life a bit easier for the business we meet up at.  They like to have an idea of how many to expect.

If you are considering attending one of our dinner/social events, please contact me using the information in our newsletter, or this website to let me know.

Thank you for your interest in our events and for your participation.

October 25 - Saturday.  We went on a little road trip to Wit’s End Garage in Marion, Iowa.  It was a nice day and the interest in this event was amazing.  There were so many people attending, it was difficult to count, but I counted 45.  34 came along to a lunch after the event.   Photos can be seen here.

December 7 -Sunday  QCBAC Christmas/Holiday party, dinner/social.

This information has just been updated!!!!!

The QCBAC will return at 2pm  to Putters
Pub and Grill, located at 1524-4th Avenue, Rock Island, IL for this event.

The cost per member for dinner will be $8.00 ea.  The cost is actually $16.00 per person, but the Board of the Quad City Auto Club has just today decided to subsidize the cost of this event with funds from the club treasury.  This fee of $8.00 will include your meal, beverage (pop, coffee, etc.  Obviously any alcoholic beverages you choose to enjoy would not be included).... Tax and tip are also included in that cost.

Beef or Chicken will be the meat choices, and if I remember from a couple years back, it's all offered in a buffet style, so you can choose beef AND chicken... baked potato and several vegetable side dishes will also be included.

We will do the Australian Grab Bag gift thing again, so buy something fun for $1.00, wrap it, with no tags and get ready to have some fun.

More details to come VERY soon.

Please
RSVP to Ed by phone at 309-764-7859 or by e-mail at qcbac@mchsi.com by Tuesday, December 2nd so we can have an idea of how many to make room for.  This RSVP count is VERY important.

More future QCBAC events to be added soon!

January 7, Wednesday - Dinner/social meeting.  We will meet at Bennigan's Grill and Tavern, located at 909 Middle Road in Bettendorf at 6pm.  Bennigan's is located in the Holiday Inn, across from Duck Creek Plaza.  It features a menu with typical American fare and Irish twists, including appetizers, sandwiches, and steaks. Its most popular menu items over many years include the Monte Cristo sandwich, Broccoli Cheese Soup, Broccoli Bites, and Death by Chocolate. Restaurants also feature a full bar, with many varieties of beer available.

Although Bennigan's recently filed for bankruptcy, the two local ones are privately owned, so still exist.

We will be ordering directly from the menu.
Please RSVP by 4pm on January 7th to Ed by phone at 309-764-7859 or by e-mail at qcbac@mchsi.com so we can have an idea of how many to make room for.  This RSVP count is VERY important as we will be given a private room.

January 25, Sunday - Dinner/social meeting.  We will meet at Red Lobster 3420 E. Kimberly Road, Davenport, Iowa at 2pm.  The Davenport Red Lobster has been recently remodeled and features a wood fire grill which adds many new taste offerings to their menu.

We will be ordering directly from the menu.
Please RSVP by  Noon on January 25th to Ed by phone at 309-764-7859 or by e-mail at qcbac@mchsi.com so we can have an idea of how many to make room for.  This RSVP count is VERY important as we will be seated in the back room and need to know how many tables will be needed.
